Free Essay On Korean War In 1946, Korea was partitioned into two areas: the northern part was Soviet sponsored and socialist and the southern part was American upheld. The division was along the 38th equal latitudinal line that isolated the nation. Kim II Sung sorted out the socialist government in the north, the Democratic People's Republic and Syngman Rhee Set up the Republic of Korea in the south. Every administration would have liked to reunify the nation. On June 25, 1950, clash emitted along the 38th equal when North Korean powers assaulted focuses along the 38th equal. These powers headed legitimately south and were pointed towards the city of Seoul. This was pronounced a break of harmony by the United Nations Security Council. President Truman promptly acted and submitted American powers to a joined United Nations military exertion alongside 15 different countries. This was a contention and not a demonstration of war since President Truman never went to Congress and requested war to be announced again North Korea. The official explanation behind the United States to enter the contention was that the United States would not like to see socialism spread. It was a piece of the virus war time. The American contribution in the Korean War was legitimized, in that the spread of socialism needed to be halted. It was the way wherein the activity was done that was done mistakenly. By joining the United Nations peacekeeping endeavors, Truman acted in an advocated way. He was not following up on his own. He was not going about as a vigilante. He was going about as one piece of a 15 part country peacekeeping power, which was legitimized. The part that was done inaccurately on his part was not going to Congress and having the demonstration of war pronounced (Teaching with reports, 2012). The negligible demonstration of not having gone to congress is the thing that made this war unmerited. That one follow up on President Truman's Part would have put forth this war an advocated attempt. As president, he knew his obligations.
